Every student is different, and what works for one might not work for the other.
Be mindful of your childs individuality. For instance, if your child is resistant to authority and is rebellious at times, he or she might clash with a tutor whose motto is, My way or the highway. These events are rare, but it is extremely important to screen prospective tutors before they are given the task of educating someone close to you.
